such a great stay, i would suggest to allow majority of guests to have access to shade when by the pool.
Some more umbrellas on all the chairs by the pool would be great as they only shade was available by the deep pool and wasn't much opportunity as there is only 3-4.

We had an enjoyable stay at the Jayakarta Hotel. The children's pool is basic and less than a meter deep. We spent many a day lying on sunloungers while our son splashed in the water. The water really heats up quickly as the day goes on. There is very little shade in the pool area unfortunately.
The hotel is really tired and there are many things that could be updated to improve the experience of staying there. The breakfast was average and didn't change throughout our 10 night stay. There are no amenities for children outside the pool and a very basic swing set in a playground.
The staff are friendly and willing to assist. We ate at the restaurant for lunch a few times and also attended a buffet dinner on Christmas Eve which was nice enough. Prices seem on par with similar style neighbouring restaurants, so while the accomodation represents value for money the dining does not.

Found the rooms to be clean. Issues with the hot water in bathroom and also needed more umbrellas around the pool. Would happily come back
Huge Hotel with 3 great pools. Plenty of lounges around the pool. Room was lovely and basic but the service was amazing. Breakfast is the the best. Free shuttle to Kuta a bonus. Just about to book again. Only disappointment was no safe in the room, you need to put your valuables in a vault at reception.
Was good but a bit tied
Jayakarta is a little on the run down side being an older style resort however the buildings are traditional Balinese style which is nice but the rooms could do with some updating. The gardens are beautiful with lovely paths winding thru the resort. The staff are friendly. The resort has a good selection of pools to hang out at. Breakfast was very good. All all I would recommend for families and older couples.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The the overall cost of the accommodation it was worth it. Rooms alittle out dated and smell funny but they are clean and presentable. The staff are just fabulous and do everything you ask. I would suggest a safe in rooms is better than a safety deposit box at lobby. We would definitely stay there again
