Singaraja - North of Bali

Driving north of Denpasar winding through the mountains, the first stop is the Royal family temple - Taman Ayun Temple featuring remarkable architecture, with the date of construction expressed on a carved door as 'Sad Bhuta Yaksa Dewa', meaning 1634 AD. Enjoy the sight of the monkeys begging for food, before reaching the scenic jungle waterfall, Gitgit Waterfall.
