Bali Accommodation Styles
There are two main categories of serviced accommodation available in Bali.
Hotel Resorts
Ranging from 3.5 to 5 stars, Hotel Resorts provide a high level of service (with a Balinese flair) and typically have all the amenities you’ll need to relax and use the hotel as a base for experiencing Bali beyond the walls of the hotel.
Typically these hotels are able to cater for;
your dining requirements with in house restaurants, - your relaxation requirements with amazing resort style pools, bars, gyms and even day spa’s
- your communication requirements with internet access and international direct phones
- in room comforts. Air conditioning, TV’s, DVD, Mini bars etc
- your activities and tours such as day trips and water sports
- many have kids clubs to give you a break from the little ones
Resort Villas
Resort Villas are relatively new boutique style of accommodation and an alternative to the typical Hotel Resorts experience. Villa Resorts typically provide larger rooms than Hotels and provide most if not all the services you’d expect in a 4-5 star Resort. There are usually a smaller number of rooms available at each Resort, making the holiday experience quieter and more personal. However unlike Hotel Resorts there is no formal service standard and services can vary from Villa to Villa. That said most provide an excellent level of service and amenities often comparable to 4-5 star hotels.
